'Tis the Season for Gaslighting
Fa la la la la, but wary of the wind and weather
As the COVID narrative is crumbling and public officials are desperately doubling down, the Polar Vortex is descending upon America and we are currently at the event horizon of the holiday season. Many people might soon be sitting at the table with family and friends this year for the first time in recent years.
The 2020 holidays were cancelled by Dr. Scrooge, though some courageous people had gatherings anyways.
In 2021, a year after the vax campaign began, many people were excluded from the holiday festivities for not taking the shots. One of my friends, who had taken three shots by then, was uninvited by his sister at the last minute because he attended hot yoga that week while the rest of them were isolating. They were all vaxxed and boosted too.
Many people might be wondering how the dinner conversations will go this year. Awkward could be a trend.
Will they pretend like nothing happened? Will they continue to overtly shame the non-compliant? Will they settle for little covert digs under the table? Will they expect you to forget how they treated you just one year ago when the media was telling them to treat you like a second-class citizen?
Suffice it to say, you might experience some gaslighting, so I thought this could be a timely post.
The favorite tactic of abusers and manipulators is gaslighting.
Gaslighting is the distortion of the perception of reality to the point where you start to think you're going crazy or your memory isn't working.
Common gaslighting examples are,"I didn't say that” or "that didn't happen”.
Gaslighting is a way to erase the abuse. The worst part of the abuse is actually the erasing of the abuse. Abuse is bad enough, but when people deny the reality of the abuse, that can drive a person (the target) insane. That's why gaslighting is also referred to as crazy-making.
As I posted last month in Never Forget, we are already seeing the attempts to rug-sweep everything that was done in the last three years. At the holiday gatherings this year, you might feel pressured to just let it go and enter the collective fantasy that nothing happened and everything is fine.
You might have heard about The Narcissist’s Creed. I don’t know who created this, but it’s spot on:
That didn’t happen.
And if it did, it wasn’t that bad.
And if it was, it’s not a big deal.
And if it is, that’s not my fault.
And if it was, I didn’t mean it.
And if I did, you deserved it.
That progression of rationalizations and the evasion of responsibility pretty much sums up how abusers and manipulators will gaslight their targets. This pattern is similar when it happens in interpersonal relationships, family and society.
When people use gaslighting to erase the abuse, they’re erasing reality.
During the last three years, around the world we have experienced unfortunate events that have also provided a learning opportunity, showing us exactly how abusers in power will erase reality at the expense of people’s lives and wellbeing. We have also seen how their enablers will carry out the gaslighting campaign in order to maintain their perception of reality.
For example, doctors gaslight their patients when they don’t look into the causes of sudden onset health issues developed post-vax. Doctors gaslight the few brave doctors who speak up about the vax injuries that they’re seeing.
The erasure of reality is the result of gaslighting.
Gaslighters might lie about what they did, or what is happening, in order to control your perception of reality. Perception is everything. If the manipulator can get you to adopt their perception of reality, then they can get away with it.
Gaslighting on a massive scale is psychological warfare.
Yuri Bezmenov, a defected KGB operative, revealed in his famous 1984 interview, The Four Stages of Ideological Subversion, the following very important understanding about psychological warfare. Remember, this was 38 years ago.
Ideological subversion AKA active measures or psychological warfare… what it basically means is to change the perception of reality to such an extent that despite the abundance of information, no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interests of defending themselves, their families, their community and their country. It’s a great brainwashing process which goes very slow and is divided into four basic stages:
Demoralization — It takes between 15-20 years to demoralize a nation by educating one generation of students, exposed to the ideology of the enemy. The process of demoralization is complete and irreversible. Unlike present United States, there will be no place for dissent in future Marxist-Leninist America. In future, these people will be crushed like cockroaches. The demoralization process in United States is now completed. Most of it is done by Americans to Americans, thanks to a lack of moral standards. Exposure to true information does not matter any more. A person who is demoralized is unable to assess true information. The facts tell nothing to him. Even if I shower him with information with authentic truth, with documents, with pictures, even if I take him by force to the Soviet Union and show him concentration camps, he will refuse to believe it until he is going to receive a kick in his fat bottom. Then he will understand but not before that. That’s the tragic of the situation of demoralization. So basically America is stuck with demoralization. Even if you start right now, you start educating a new generation of Americans, it will still take you 15-20 years to turn the tide of ideological perception of reality back to normalcy and patriotism.
Destabilization — It takes only 2-5 years to destabilize a nation. This time the subverter doesn’t care about your ideas and the patterns of your consumption. Whether you eat junk food and get fat and flabby, doesn’t matter any more. What matters is essentials: economy, foreign relations and defense systems.
Crisis — It may take only up to 6 weeks to bring a country to the verge of crisis. After crisis, with the violent change of power, structure and economy, you have the period of normalization.
Normalization — It may last indefinitely. Normalization is a cynical expression borrowed from Soviet propaganda. This is what will happen in United States if you allow all these schmucks to bring the country to crisis, to promise people all kind of goodies and the promise of Paradise on Earth, to destabilize your economy, to eliminate the principle of free market competition and to put a Big Brother government in Washington D.C. with benevolent dictators… who will promise lots of things. Nevermind whether the promises are fulfilled or not. He will create false illusions that the situation is under control. Situation is not under control. Situation is disgustingly out of control. Most of the American politicians, media and educational system train a generation of people who think they are living at the peace time. False. United States is in the state of war, undeclared total war against the basic principles and the foundations of this system. The initiator of this war… it’s the system, however ridiculous it may sound, the world communist system or the world communist conspiracy. The time bomb is ticking with every second. The disaster is coming closer and closer. Unlike myself, you will have nowhere to defect to. This is the last country of freedom and possibility.
I sure would love to sit at a table with Bezmenov now and ask the man some questions. In that interview, he gave some basic solutions, which he says are the only solutions to this problem:
Educate yourself. Understand what’s going on around you. You are not living at the time of peace. You are in a state of war and you have precious little time to save yourself.
It sounds like his words are coming to head now. It also seems like these 4 stages of psychological warfare aren’t really linear. They appear to be cycling in octaves, one constructed upon another.
The demoralization that was already evident in the 1980s continued at new levels when it merged with the woke demoralization, which began to make headway in its installation at American universities in the early 2000s.
In addition to the Soviet propaganda that Bezmenov cited, we now also have the demoralization via social media fantasy life, Swipe Life and the hookup culture degrading self-worth, dating and relationships. Many schools now push the sexuality indoctrination of children. Confused children are almost immediately offered sterilization by way of irreversible hormone blockers. Parents who don’t go along with this are called abusive and even threatened with losing custody of their kids. “Anti-racism” is fomenting more racism and violence. Radical feminism has convinced many women that they’re just like men and that women should take over leadership in society. Many men are feminized, emotionally and chemically castrated, so they’ve become docile and permissive of tyranny. Some men are giving birth to babies and some biological males are given the green light to dominate female sports. We also have crude, overtly sexualized Hollywood entertainment like famous singers wearing strap on dildos, and drag queens simulating sex, on stage during performances open to all ages.
I think the old Soviet propagandists might even tip their hats from the grave if they could see how far America has taken the demoralization.
In 2020, we clearly entered the crisis phase.
Now, the insanity is being integrated into the Normalization phase. They didn’t even hide it when they named it the New Normal.
If you look around lately, you might notice that many people are currently living in a state of denial. They’re acting like nothing happened during the last three years, like it was some distant dream. Yet just a year ago, the unvaxxed were segregated from society, including using public toilets, in some areas. People are now falling ill and suddenly dying at alarming rates. Miscarriages are on the rise and babies aren’t being born at the rate they were before 2021. Meanwhile the puppets keep pushing the dangerous injectables and pretend like nothing is happening.
Rethink Mental Illness is now redefining psychosis. They include “having strong beliefs that are not shared by people in your community”, including being worried that the government is trying to harm you and your loved ones. If you click the video on their site, they mention another one of these “unusual beliefs” is that there’s a chip implanted in your brain.
This would be a good time to remember Krishnamurti’s famous phrase: “It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.”
The gaslighting of the Normalization stage is already “disgustingly out of control”, as Yuri Bezmenov said.
Gaslighting is used to cancel your perception of the abuse and the abuser, while at the same time, blaming you as somehow defective for even having such thoughts. So not only do they cancel the abuse, but they also flip it around on you.
This is the most common way that an abuser will evade responsibility and blame the target instead.
It might also surprise you to see enablers doing this in order to maintain the dysfunctional dynamics of the family or social group (or in this case society), or even to defend an abusive individual (or government) that they’re dependent upon. We have likely all seen in our own social circles, that enablers of the abusers are also erasing reality.
When you can see reality and everyone around you is telling you that’s not real, your mind can go into shock. You could end up having a mental breakdown. This is why it’s called crazy-making. And this is why it’s important to have allies.
One of my clients from the Hassidic community told me that once she had awareness of the gaslighting in her own marriage, she finally understood why one of her neighbors, a middle-aged married woman, one day ran out into the middle of her busy street, naked and screaming. You might already be seeing videos online of people losing their mind in public places in the last couple years. This week there was one of a woman at the Miami airport.
Gaslighting is used to cancel reality.
This is very harmful to individuals who are the targets of abuse. It is incredibly dangerous when it’s happening on a societal level.
George Orwell wrote: “Who controls the past, controls the future. Who controls the present, controls the past.” Whoever is controlling the present, is also controlling the perception or memory of the past, as well as the future direction where things are going.
That’s why what’s going on in the world right now is so interesting. We are seeing unprecedented levels of censorship and the controlling of public perception while innocent people are being abused and neglected in the process. Effectively, their reality is being cancelled.
During the recent years, the Gallup polls are showing a reduced percentage of people who still go to mainstream, corporate news sources for their daily dose of reality. Nowadays most people doubt the trustworthiness of these sources, and with reason. This is probably due to the extreme bias we see in the corporate media, sharing only selective facts, relying on expertology, using misleading headlines since they know most people don’t read the articles, promoting a crisis and war agenda to appease the corporate sponsors, and twisting facts to fit their narrative.
The Gallup poll on Americans’ trust in mass media started in 1972. Back at the peak, in 1976, 72% of American’s trusted mainstream media a great deal or fair amount. In 2022, 62% of Americans don’t trust the media very much or at all.
Mainstream news channels are the biggest sources of public gaslighting.
Thankfully, more people started turning toward alternative online media in the recent years. The Powers That Be noticed this trend and found other ways of continuing to manipulate the public perception of reality.
First it started by assigning sites like Snopes as the authority on the truth, which later revealed itself to be a very biased organization run by a corrupt couple with ties to a corrupt political party. Then came all the other “fact-checkers”. In 2020, you could post something on Facebook and almost instantly find 7-8 disclaimers added to your post, in order to smear and dismiss the information.
You’ve probably noticed that YouTube puts a banner on the bottom of videos from foreign media channels that are partially or entirely paid for by the State, as if to warn viewers that it might be propaganda. But what’s interesting is when you go to a CNN or FOX video, there’s no banner. They don’t tell us about the war contracting corporations who sponsor corporate news channels, or the Big Banks who support and fund the war crimes committed by the State. They don’t talk about the Big Pharma companies who purchase massive amounts of advertising to continue to sell us their agenda. That’s because the warning banners on YouTube are meant to make you distrust any alternative sources of reality and to blindly trust the ones that the Powers That Be deem as “trusted sources”.
Orwell’s book “1984", which he published in 1949, describes a dystopian future where information is being controlled by a minority of people who erased the past. The narrator in the story describes how the past was erased through the control of the language that people are allowed to use in order to describe reality.
This is unfortunately exactly where we are right now in society.
Stanford is now banning the term American. It’s part of their Elimination of Harmful Language Initiative.
I got into those arguments with people in Latin America over the years when they would ask me where I was from. I would say, “Soy americana.” When you say that in Europe, people know you’re from USA. But in Latin America, some people would get really bothered by this. “Estadounidense. Eres estadounidense,” they would correct me. Once at a bar in Mexico City, an uppidity young rich guy followed that same script with me. I had a couple mezcales by then, so I took out a peso coin from my pocketbook and asked him what it says on the back. Estados Unidos Mexicanos, we read together. I said “See, we are both estadounidense too.” He didn’t say a word, nor did he need to, because his face expressed contempt.
I guess if you’re going to school at Stanford, in addition to multiple doses of COVID injectables, you’ll need some kind of mouth filter programmed with the updated list of forbidden words, to be sure you don’t dare say something that can even remotely be interpreted as offensive to others. No worries though, pretty soon they’ll probably have a brain implant or updated injectable to remove, for you, that burden of having to choose your own speech. Just kidding, you Rethink Psychosis Karens.
The manipulation of language and information is a sign of reality control.
It’s very important, now more than ever, to do your own research and use discernment. Don’t blindly accept as reality, everything you’re hearing on the news or in your social media feed. Most of that is highly manipulated. Seek out other sources and listen to a bunch of different opinions so you can see a broader landscape. Then, and this is the hard part, take some time to reflect and think about what you read. Talk to people. Apply your discernment abilities to see what is true and what doesn’t make sense. You should do the same for everything I say too.
Strengthen your ability to think for yourself and to think critically… while you still can. I’m not kidding and neither was Yuri Bezmenov. The level of information control, censorship and propaganda nowadays is unbelievable. What’s scary is that most people have no idea it’s happening in countries like USA. Americans (see what I did there?) are conditioned to think this is something that happens only in places like China, Cuba, and North Korea. This is a result of our American Exceptionalism and it can be a huge blindspot.
Did you know that USA legalized propaganda in 2015? It was called the Countering Disinformation and Propaganda Act. This, of course, is Orwellian language.
Orwell didn’t use the term gaslighting in his book, 1984. However, he described a specific form of gaslighting where opposite words are used to distort the truth. He called this doublespeak. When you hear these opposites, your brain can go into a short-circuit from the Cognitive Dissonance.
For example, the Ministry of Truth from Orwell’s novel had 3 slogans:
WAR IS PEACE
FREEDOM IS SLAVERY
IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH
When you hear those phrases, you might notice they hurt your head a little because they don’t make sense. It scrambles your brains. The phrases are telling you to accept reality as the opposite of what you know is true.
Here are a few modern ones you may have heard in the media:
The economy is strong.
Elections are secure.
The vaccine is safe and effective.
Freezing your ass off this winter is solidarity with democracy.
When you’re in an abusive relationship and you see reality one way but the abuser is telling you the opposite, it’s a mindfuck. This is the same kind of distortion of language that governments and media use.
Once you open your eyes to this, you can’t unsee it. You’ll start to see it everywhere. You’ll realize that we are living in the Matrix and most people are still completely plugged into that system of control. When you start to really see what’s going on in the world, you can notice how the exact same patterns of narcissistic abuse in interpersonal relationships and the family are being used on society at large.
And just like when you’re the only one in your family or office or other social group who wakes up to the abuse, when you call it out, people will attack you and defend the abusive system. The same thing will happen when you share information about what’s going on at the societal level. People start calling you paranoid, tin foil hat, conspiracy theorist and other derogatory terms.
Morpheus told Neo that the people living in the Matrix will defend it because they’re hopelessly dependent on it. Being a truth-teller is an act of courage because when you speak up about abuse in an abusive system, whether a family, social group, office, or society at large, you will be smeared, attacked or even erased by the abusers and their enablers, in order for the abusive system to maintain its image and control.
The priority of an abusive system is to maintain image and control over all else.
When the people behind the “life-saving vaccines” are also advocates of population control, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see a covert gaslighting campaign hiding the genocide. Crimes against humanity are best disguised as humanitarian work, philanthropy and aid.
What kind of cover story will they run when people can no longer ignore that there’s a huge increase in people dying suddenly?
First, don’t let people know if the suddenly dead took the shots.
Next, hide the adverse effects data and remember dead people can’t file a report.
Then, tell people we were just trying to save lives quickly and we really didn’t mean to harm anyone, in fact y’all should be grateful because it could’ve been much worse.
Finally, don’t worry, you can trust us next time!
In my February 2020 podcast episode, When Abusers Erase Reality, which was ironically erased by iTunes in 2020 and then magically restored sometime last year, I talked about the historic vaccine campaigns involving UN umbrellaed organizations and your favorite vaccine salesman, in which millions of women and girls of child-bearing age were sterilized in Kenya with the perinatal tetanus shots and young girls were harmed and killed in India with the HPV shots.
I’m bringing up this history because soon you'll start hearing about a mass vaccination campaign response to the novel coronavirus or the next, worse pandemic that’s coming after this one. You will see these same gaslighting tactics being used. Please be aware of this history and do your own research, think for yourself and don’t just believe what you hear in the news or even by global organizations. As Dr. George Simon says (though he would probably disagree with me on the relativity to current events), “Past behavior is often the best predictor of future behavior.”
I went on to say:
Who knows how dangerous the rushed vaccines for the new coronavirus will be. Who knows what they might be “accidentally contaminated” with. Remember you can’t sue a pharmaceutical company in the USA for anything that happens to you as a result of their vaccines. Congress has absolved those predator corporations of all responsibility for damages and deaths caused by their vaccinations. Psychopaths protecting psychopaths.
The scary part is, will they try to make these vaccines obligatory? Will they force us to receive untested, and likely unsafe chemicals in our body, which of course they’ll swear up and down how safe and necessary they are, while we also wave our right to hold them accountable if something happens to us? I believe it’s important to allow personal freedom over one’s health choices. Besides, if their vaccines actually work, then they shouldn’t be upset about people opting out.
In that episode, I was definitely wrong about some things. For example, at the time in February 2020, the “novel coronavirus” seemed much more deadly than it proved to be by April 2020. However, most of my receipts came up eerily similar to what unfolded, not because I’m psychic, but rather because abuse has predictable patterns.
In that episode, I tried to warn people about the censorship too:
I was listening to a live broadcast of a WHO meeting this week on the new coronavirus pandemic. They were talking about the “infodemic” that spreads with any epidemic and they were discussing ways to combat both. I was relieved to hear Dr. Sylvie Briand, the Director of Infectious Hazards Management Department at WHO, say that censorship is not the answer and we must allow for the freedom of expression. I agree with that. I hope countries will not allow the crisis of a pandemic to sway them against the freedom of expression of its citizens. If you do see that happening, that’s not a good sign. Remember censorship has both overt and covert forms.
This week, Dr. Naomi Wolf spoke about the 32,000 missing VAERS reports of myocarditis from September 2022 through December of 2022, in just a few months of time.
Recently a “scientific” study came out trying to gaslight the public into thinking that the increase in vaxxidents since 2021 is actually the result of the unvaccinated, therefore the unvaccinated should pay higher car insurance premiums. Here’s the logic:
Of course, skipping a COVID vaccine does not mean that someone will get into a car crash. Instead, the authors theorize that people who resist public health recommendations might also “neglect basic road safety guidelines.”
Why would they ignore the rules of the road? Distrust of the government, a belief in freedom, misconceptions of daily risks, “faith in natural protection,” “antipathy toward regulation,” poverty, misinformation, a lack of resources, and personal beliefs are potential reasons proposed by the authors.
The findings are significant enough that primary care doctors should consider counseling unvaccinated patients on traffic safety—and insurance companies might base changes to insurance policies on vaccination data, the authors suggest.
Resisting horrible public “health” recommendations, distrust of the lying government, a belief in freedom and faith in natural immunity… all of these now equate to potential reasons for car accidents in COVIDlogic. They even want to use doctors as pawns to counsel the unvaxxed about traffic safety.
It’s important to keep calling out the gaslighting, no matter how absurd it gets, so that our entire reality doesn’t go down the memory hole.
Keep your eyes and ears out for gaslighting in the news, on social media, from organizations and government. Talk with those who are willing to have a conversation on topics like this. The only way that we can dispel the gaslighting campaign is to do our own research and talk to others who are receptive to listen and discuss further. Talking to allies is what helps keep you sane.
This is how you can maintain a grip on reality, no matter how insane the world gets.
Even though there’s a sense of perceived normality right now, I believe it’s important that we keep thinking for ourselves and talking about these things. If we become complacent, or even if we fall into the assumption that we’ve already won, when this is far from over, one day in the not too distant future, we may find ourselves in the tattered shoes of the narrator of Orwell’s 1984, trying to remember the past but lacking the ability to even think about it because the Party had long ago deleted those words from the official vocabulary.
If you’re in an abusive relationship, family or other social group where you see the erasure of reality taking place, that’s a cue to opt out and own your sense of reality so you can keep your sanity and sense of self.
Unfortunately, in the global arena, we can’t yet entirely opt out of the system. While that can feel disempowering and cause people to become apathetic due to the learned helplessness, we ought to still get informed and aware of what’s going on, talk with others who are receptive, brainstorm about possible solutions and pray that enough people wake up and see reality before it’s too late.
No one is coming to save us. We have to save ourselves.
